The reality of telephone calls today is they are very near to free for the mobile operators. Calls to many global destinations are very cheap. The largest costs to the networks are   handsets and capital costs on install infrastructure and licences from the government.

Virgin mobile and BT mobile can offer some very good contract phone deals and some can be bundled in with services you already get from virgin or bt, as a private individual or business customer.
